Motorcycle Dealerships Chop Tax Bite

The company owns two business enterprises, both engaged in the sales of motorcycles, one of which was subject to Texas Franchise Tax of almost $44,000 per year.

ITA recommended a restructuring that almost entirely eliminated the yearly Texas Franchise Cost. In addition to this $44,000 per year franchise tax savings, by further refining the client’s business structure, ITA was able to generate additional annual tax savings in excess of $18,750.

Total savings have amounted to $469,000.

ITA’s review of the client estate plan brought to light that the client’s professional advisors overlooked certain tax reduction techniques available to the client. Through implementation of these overlooked strategies our client was able to reduce his estate taxes by nearly $1.7 million.
